Andersen battle with Spurs

Arsenal are looking to sign the Fulham defender to Joachim Andersen as a replacement for Brazilian defender David Luiz.

The former Chelsea defender has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium, this summer and it will be interesting to see if Arsenal can sign the Denmark international as his replacement.

According to reports, Tottenham are currently in pole position to land the 24-year-old Fulham defender.

Andersen has been very impressive for Fulham and he will return to his parent club Lyon once his loan deal expires. The French club are open to selling the 24-year-old this summer, and they will demand a fee of around £20 million.

Anguissa interest

Andersen is not the only Fulham player Arsenal have been linked with this summer.

They are thought to be keen on signing the powerful midfielder Andre-Frank Anguissa as well.

The 25-year-old is valued at around £20 million, and he is thought to be a target for Aston Villa and Everton as well.

Arsenal could definitely use a powerful presence in the midfield, and the technically gifted Fulham midfielder would be an ideal addition for them.

Dembele pursuit

Meanwhile, the Gunners are looking to improve their attacking options as well, and they have identified the Atletico Madrid forward Moussa Dembele.

The Frenchman is currently on loan at the Spanish club, and Atletico Madrid have an option to sign him permanently for a fee of around £30 million.

It remains to be seen whether the Spanish outfit decide to take up the option this summer.

The Gunners could definitely use someone like him in their attack, especially if the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah decide to move on in the summer.

Dembele has been exceptional in his two years with Lyon, and he managed to score 44 goals for them, and he had a superb reputation during his time at Celtic as well.

He could prove to be a quality long term addition for the Gunners if they manage to pull off his signing.
