Xavi recommends Joachim Low for Barcelona job, Rabiot on the radar

Man United hold talks with Adrien Rabiot amid Arsenal and Everton interest

Joachim Low would be a good option for Barcelona, claims Xavi

Former Barcelona midfielder Xavi has insisted that Germany national team manager Joachim Low would be ideal to lead the Catalans.

Low has recently announced that he would step down from the national team job after this year’s European Championship.

“He was a luxury coach. He wants sparkle and attacking football, and he is a world champion. Low has helped Germany develop a different understanding of football that reminds me a lot of what I know from Spain and Barcelona.

“[He would be a good fit for Barcelona] because of his way of understanding the game and because of his personality.”

However, Ronald Koeman has gained the trust of new president Joan Laporta after a series of impressive win and the Dutch gaffer is expected to lead Barca for next season.

Rabiot tracked by Barca

Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot is said to be tracked by Barcelona alongside Premier League giants Manchester City and Everton after reports emerged that the French midfielder could be placed on the transfer exchange this summer.

Rabiot has failed to make his presence felt in a dull-season for the Bianconeri, who are ten points off the leaders Inter Milan and were also eliminated from the Champions League.

Juve are also said to be interested in signing Paul Pogba and Houssem Aouar and they are planning to use players like Rabiot and Ramsey as makeweights.

Nonetheless, Koeman is still keen on signing Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, who would be available on a free transfer at the end of this season.
