Julian Nagelsmann-RB Leipzig

Bayern Munich have confirmed that Julian Nagelsmann will replace Hansi Flick as the club’s new manager at the start of next season.

It seems that the RB Leipzig manager has already started planning for life at the Bavarian club, and he has identified three transfer targets for this summer.

According to reports, Nagelsmann has urged the German club to sign the AZ Alkmaar midfielder Teun Koopmeiners.

The 23-year-old is one of the most exciting young midfielders around Europe right now, and his performances have attracted the attention of several European heavyweights.

It remains to be seen whether the Germans can fend off the competition and secure his services this summer.

Furthermore, the German manager is keen on signing Nordi Mukiele from RB Leipzig as well.

Nagelsmann knows the player well, having coached him at RB Leipzig, and it will be interesting to see if Bayern can secure his services this summer.

The defender is thought to be a potential replacement for David Alaba. He can operate as a centre back as well as a full back.

The third player on Nagelsmann’s shortlist is the AZ Alkmaar striker Myron Boadu.

The 20-year-old is a massive talent with a big future ahead of him, and Nagelsmann views him as an ideal long term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

It will be interesting to see if Bayern Munich can help their new manager sign his top targets this summer. As the German club have not involved its manager during transfer process. Hansi Flick has fell out with the club as he wanted to have greater say in transfer decisions.

All three players should be reasonably priced and quite attainable for a club with Bayern’s resources.
