Jesse Lingard and three other attackers who have shone after leaving Manchester United

Jesse Lingard-West Ham United

West Ham United picked up a 3-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League earlier tonight and on-loan Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard continued his red hot form for the Hammers with a vital goal.

The 28-year-old joined West Ham on loan during the January transfer window and he has been a revelation for the Hammers so far. Lingard has six goals and three assists to his name for the London side.

The England international has managed to transform David Moyes’ attack. He has not only chipped in with vital goals, but he has also done so with consistency.

West Ham are currently 4th in the table with eight games to go and it will be interesting to see if Jesse Lingard can help them secure Champions League football for the next season.

Meanwhile, Lingard continues the trend of attacking players hitting purple patches after leaving Manchester United in recent seasons.

Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku has been unplayable for Inter Milan and he has 26 goals to his name this season. Antonio Conte’s side are fighting for the Italian League title and Lukaku is the main reason why they are in the race.

The 27-year-old was sold after a mixed spell at Old Trafford and he has managed to establish himself as one of the most lethal goalscorers in European football over the past year.

Similarly, Dutch winger Memphis Depay has had an outstanding impact at Lyon and Argentine winger Angel Di Maria has been a key player for Paris Saint Germain since leaving Old Trafford.

Depay has managed to score 49 goals in his last three seasons with the French club and he has 15 goals to his name so far this season.

Meanwhile, Di Maria has been averaging around 16 goals per season since moving to PSG. He has also helped them win sixteen trophies so far.
