Paris Saint-Germain are interested to secure long-term contract for their mercurial stars Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

The likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe has been linked with moves away from Paris Saint Germain for months now but it appears that the French club has made progress on contractual discussions with one of the two stars.

According to reports, the French outfit have secured a pre-contract agreement with Brazilian international Neymar which will keep the forward at the club until the summer of 2026.

The Ligue 1 club are now set to focus on securing a similar agreement with French international Kylian Mbappe, who has been heavily linked with Real Madrid.

According to reports, PSG president Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Leonardo have not been able to convince the World Cup winner to sign a new deal so far and it will be interesting to see if the French international changes his stance in the coming weeks.

It is believed that the figures and conditions of his teammate Neymar’s contract will influence the Frenchman’s negotiation strategy. There is no doubt that Mbappe would want a similar pay.

That said, if PSG fail to renew and Mbappe’s deal before the end of the season, they could look to sell him for a fee of around €120-150 million.

Meanwhile, the French international attacker is a priority target for Real Madrid. The Spanish club will have to sell several squad members in the summer to secure the finances to sign him and it remains to be seen where the player ends up.

Apparently, Kylian Mbappe is desperate to win the Champions League and if PSG failed to do so this season, it could be the final nail in the coffin for the Frenchman.

Neymar and PSG have reached a preliminary renewal agreement until 2026. This will help Real Madrid in the "Operation Mbappe": PSG will let Mbappe leave more easily if Neymar is staying. @telefoot_TF1 via @diarioas
Mbappé future? Mauricio Pochettino to @le_Parisien: "I don't know, it's a question you have to ask the player. I have a great relationship with the player, as with Neymar, I try to speak in French, but he speaks to me in English or Spanish." #rmlive
