Neymar on the brink of signing a new deal

PSG ace Neymar is reportedly on the verge of signing a new deal after weeks of speculation.

The Brazilian looks to have left behind the ideas of playing for his former club Barcelona as he is set for a longer future at PSG.

Having extended the contracts of Angel Di Maria and Juan Bernat, PSG are expected to do the same for Neymar sooner.

Neymar returned from his injury as a substitute in last night’s win against Lyon and Mauricio Pochettino would be delighted to have him ahead of crucial encounters against Lille and Bayern Munich.

Arteta open to PSG move

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has declared his interest in managing PSG although he remains focused on his current job at the Emirates Stadium.

Arteta, who had once played at PSG briefly, said,

“I love Paris, I love Paris. I have very good memories from over there. It was my first club as a professional. The club is always in my heart.

You never know but I have a lot of work to do [here at Arsenal].”

David Alaba transfer blow as he prefers La Liga move

PSG, who are understood to be still in the race for David Alaba, have suffered a huge blow, with the Austrian defender wanting a move to La Liga.

Alaba had earlier announced that he would be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of this season and Real Madrid also claimed that they had agreed to a deal with him.

There have been speculations in recent weeks that the Austrian defender is reconsidering his future after finding Madrid’s offer below his expectations, allowing all of his potential suitors to rekindle their interest.

However, the Bavarians defender is now reported to be still favouring a move to either Madrid or Barcelona.

David Alaba turned down a huge offer from PSG.
