Chelsea plotting summer move for Kane
According to reports, Thomas Tuchel is lining up a big-money move for the England international, but Chelsea are waiting to find out whether the player is keen on a transfer.
There have been reports that the striker will look to move on at the end of this season unless the Spurs can secure Champions League qualification.
It seems highly unlikely that the London club will play Champions League football next season, and therefore it wouldn’t be surprising if Kane decided to force a move in the summer.
The England international is at the peak of his powers right now, and he will be hoping to challenge for trophies every season.
Unfortunately, Tottenham are not quite ready to challenge for the Premier League title and the Champions League title just yet.
On the other hand, Chelsea have an impressive squad and a top-class manager at the helm, and the Blues could very well end up winning the Champions League this season.
A move to Stamford Bridge could allow Kane to realize his dreams of winning trophies consistently.
Meanwhile, Chelsea need to sign a quality number nine in order to win the Premier League title next year, and a world-class signing like Harry Kane would transform their squad.
Kane wants Tottenham to consider transfer offers
In other news, the England international is set to inform Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy that any offers for him in the summer should be considered.
That said, Harry Kane is unwilling to put in a transfer request just yet, and it will be interesting to see if Levy is willing to consider a potential sale in the coming months.
Selling a player of his calibre would be a damaging blow to Tottenham’s ambitions, and the London club are unlikely to let him leave anytime soon.
Daniel Levy has a reputation of being a difficult negotiator, and selling a key player to a direct rival might not be on the cards this summer.
