Matthias Ginter offer made

Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be interested in signing the German defender Matthias Ginter this summer.

The 27-year-old has done well for Borussia Mönchengladbach, and his performances have caught the attention of the Premier League side.

According to reports, Liverpool are keen on signing the former Borussia Dortmund defender as well.

Apparently, Tottenham have already submitted an offer for the 27-year-old defender, and the German outfit are demanding a fee of around £30 million for their prized asset.

Spurs could definitely use some defensive reinforcements this summer, and Ginter could prove to be a quality addition for them.

Andrea Belotti tussle with Roma

Meanwhile, Roma are closing in on the signing of former Tottenham target Andrea Belotti.

The London club tried to sign the Torino striker at the start of the season, and the club’s director confirmed the London club’s interest in the 27-year-old back in October.

“We had a chat with Tottenham, but Belotti is too important for us,” said sporting director Davide Vagnati.

“I’d love to see Belotti stay at Torino for the rest of his career.”

Belotti is valued at around £25 million, and he could be a quality attacking option for Jose Mourinho’ side next season.

It is not surprising that Mourinho wants to sign the 27 year old for Roma this summer. He was the one targeting Belotti for Tottenham in the summer.

According to earlier reports, the London club are still very much in the race for the Italian striker’s signature, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
