Bukayo Saka to get a attacking role in Arsenal

Bukayo Saka - With Arsenal deal pending, receives Liverpool interest

Arsenal starlet Bukayo Saka could be played further forward for the remaining games of the season.

As per reports, Arteta has been using Saka in his attacking drills with the likes of Aubameyang and Lacazette.

It will be interesting to see if Saka plays as a winger when the Premier League resumes on June 17th. He has shown that he has the ability to get past players and create chances for the attacking players.

The youngster himself confirmed earlier in the season that he wants to play as a winger and create/score goals.

Arsenal have lacked a bit of cutting edge from the wide areas and Saka could make a big difference for them in that role.

Saka is a top class talent and he is rated very highly by the Gunners. Arteta will be hoping to develop him into a first team star. Letting him play in his natural role will only help him improve quickly.

Saka’s attributes are more suited to that of a winger. He has been quite impressive as a full back as well but that should be a secondary role for him.

Arteta must look to make the most of his strengths by playing him in a more advanced role.

The youngster has played 15 games as a winger this season and he has scored two goals and provided five assists.

Meanwhile, he has just one goal and four assists as a left back.

If Saka plays as the winger, it will also allow Arteta to establish Tierney as his starting left back. The former Celtic ace is a top talent and he needs to be integrated into the starting lineup next season.
