Borussia Dortmund picked up an impressive 2-0 win away from home against RB Leipzig.

Star striker Erling Haaland bagged a brace for the away side to take them up to second in the table.

Dortmund will be looking to secure their place in next season’s Champions League and this is a massive win for them.

Leipzig are third in the table and they are now six points behind Dortmund. This was a great chance for the hosts to close the gap with Dortmund. They went into the game just three points adrift of the visitors.

Meanwhile, this was Haaland’s 13th goal in his 14th Bundesliga outing and he has been on fire since moving to the club.

It will be interesting to see if Dortmund can win their remaining games and finish the season strongly. As for Haaland, he will be looking to add to his tally.

Haaland gave the visitors the lead on the 30th minute and then wrapped up the points in injury time.

Leipzig would have hoped to get something out of this game and they will be disappointed with the scoreline, especially at home.

They have the players to trouble Dortmund but they failed to match the away side’s desire and intensity over the ninety minutes today.
