Leicester City and Manchester City have booked their place in the next round after FA Cup with wins in the fifth round earlier today.
Leicester City picked up a 1-0 win over Brighton.
Substitute Kelechi Iheanacho scored a 94th-minute winner to take his side past Brighton in a closely contested affair.
Both teams more or less cancelled each other out throughout the game but Brighton’s lack of concentration during a quick corner ended up costing them the game.
The Foxes are now unbeaten in 12 of the last 13 matches and they have reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the second successive season.
The only negative from the night is the nasty injury to James Justin. Leicester will be hoping to have him back in action soon.
Man City win sets domestic record
As for Manchester City, they have now managed to set a new record for consecutive domestic wins buy an English club after winning their 15th match in a row in all competitions.
Goals from Kyle Walker, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus wrapped up a fine win for the Premier League leaders away to Swansea.
City are one of the best teams left in the competition and they will fancy their chances of going all the way and winning the trophy this season.
They have been in spectacular form recently and they were massive favourites heading into this game. It is no surprise that Swansea were completely outplayed tonight.
The Championship outfit scored a consolation goal on the 77th minute through Morgan Whittaker but it wasn’t enough to put the Premier League side under any sort of pressure.
