Juventus 0-0 Milan: Juve in Coppa Italia final

Cristiano Ronaldo returned to training alongside Juventus teammates

Juventus booked their place in the Coppa Italia final after a 0-0 draw against AC Milan in Turin.

The Italian champions managed to draw the first leg 1-1 and they are now through to the final on away goals.

The Turin based outfit could have easily won the game but Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty for them. Meanwhile, Ante Rebic was sent off for Milan.

The Croatian was sent off for a high challenge on the Juventus defender Danilo.

Despite going down to ten men, Milan managed to hold off Juventus and fight until the end.

Juventus are the better side and they should have created more chances. However, Sarri will be relieved to have reached the final.

The Italian outfit seemed rusty and they were lacking in sharpness. The players have been starved of game time due to the Coronavirus lockdown since March.

They will need some time to regain their sharpness and form.

The results should improve for Sarri’s men with time.

It will be interesting to see who they face in the final now. Napoli and Inter Milan will face off in the other semi final later today.

Juventus will now be hoping to wint their remaining games in the Serie A and secure their title. They are in a good position to defend their Championship.
