Juventus planning to offer Rabiot and Costa for Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin

Arsenal in Rabiot talks, as Juventus keen to fund Pogba transfer

Juventus plot a swap deal for the signing of Bellerin.

Juventus are reportedly plotting a swap deal for Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin, which could see Adrien Rabiot and Douglas Costa move to the Emirates Stadium.

Bellerin has been linked with a move away from North London, with PSG and Barcelona said to be keeping tabs on him beside Juventus.

The Spaniard is valued at €30m by the Gunners however Juve are looking to reduce the fee by inserting players in the deal.

Rabiot joined the Old Lady on a free transfer in the summer of 2019 and has been a regular feature for the side. The former PSG man also managed to regain his place in France’s national team.

Meanwhile, Costa has struggled for game time this season at Bayern, where he has been loaned until the end of this season.

Rabiot could add more value to the Gunners considering his defensive skills and ball carrying abilities which Mikel Arteta could savour in the midfield.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if the North Londoners would provide the escape route to Costa, who hasn’t lived up to his expectations throughout his career.

Bellerin, who has returned to the fold after a long injury layoff, is slowly gaining his rhythm back and his ability to play both as a full-back and wing-back would be of great use to the Old Lady.

Arteta had previously opened about his relationship with the former Barcelona academy star.

“If you asked me that question a few years ago I’d probably say if he is the way he is it’s nice because we had a really strong relationship and I tried to help him as much as I could.

“Now it’s a different relationship. Obviously, when you know the person and you know the professional, it’s easier to help them because you know how he feels, you know what he needs and how to get the best out of him.

“It’s true that this season he’s found much more consistency, he’s been available in many more matches and hopefully, he’s now forgotten the last two years when injuries meant he wasn’t able to play as much.”

Juve would look to sign a full-back in the summer transfer window and Bellerin is a good option to bet on.
