Los Blancos were keen to sign the PSG ace in this summer window but to no avail.

Kylian Mbappe’s transfer saga turned out to be the most exciting one of this transfer window.

Real Madrid had been showing strong interest lately as they wanted to make the PSG superstar their dream signing.

Los Blancos reportedly made stunning back to back offers to lure Mbappe away from the French Capital but PSG weren’t entertained by it.

It has also been reported that Madrid were ready to splash out 189m pounds on the deadline day for the French World Cup winner but to no avail in the end.

According to new reports, Los Blancos are set to sign the 22-year-old on a free transfer next summer while planning to reach a pre-contract in January.

Mbappe’s future was questioned following the arrival of Lionel Messi on a free transfer from Barcelona. The former Monaco star was also said to have rejected multiple offers to renew his contract with Les Parisiens.

PSG sporting director Leanardo confirmed the Spanish club’s interest but insisted that Mbappe could only leave if their valuation is met.

Les Parisiens boss Mauricio Pochettino has also been continuously insisting that Mbappe’s future is secured at Parc des Princes.

For the time being, PSG fans will be happy that they can see the trio of Mbappe, Messi and Neymar linking up in this season.

Elsewhere, Madrid managed to sign Eduardo Camavinga for a 30m euros deal on the deadline day of the transfer window.
