Real Madrid planning to offload six players to fund transfers for Haaland and Mbappe

Newcastle to offer £53m to Real Madrid for Gareth Bale

Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe remain top targets for Los Blancos this summer

Real Madrid are reportedly planning to offload up to six players in order to fund transfers for summer targets Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.

Los Blancos are well aware of the fact that signing the striker duo would be a gargantuan task given the current financial crisis and as a result, many of their current rosters could be placed on the transfer exchange. The list includes Sergio Ramos, Gareth Bale, Raphael Varane, Eden Hazard, Isco.

Sergio Ramos’ current deal expires this summer and there is less optimism that he would stay at the Spanish capital club beyond this season.

Gareth Bale’s loan spell at Tottenham looks to have breathed fresh air into his career and it is up to the North Londoners whether they would tie the Welshman to a permanent deal. Furthermore, if he seeks a return to Real, he once again would find a place on the bench under Zinedine Zidane.

Raphael Varane’s exit rumours have surfaced in recent times, with Manchester United interested in signing him. However, it leaves the entire Madrid defence vulnerable as Varane and Ramos are the only experienced campaigners in the current squad.

Hazard’s career has taken a sudden downturn after completing his dream move to Madrid seasons ago. A string of injuries have plagued the Belgian’s development and it is safe to assure that the time is running against him to prove his worth.

Isco is another player whose importance has withered over the last few seasons and it could be the time for the Spaniard to seek an exit from the Spanish capital.
