The French World Cup winner is reportedly looking to leave Paris Saint-Germain next summer.

PSG ace Kylian Mbappe has reportedly informed his teammates that he would remain at the club this season amid heavy speculations regarding his exit.

However, the report also adds that the 22-year-old would look to leave the French Ligue 1 club next summer when his current deal runs out.

Reports have been circulating in recent weeks that Mbappe is not happy at Paris Saint-Germain and has refused to extend his contract.

It was also added that the French forward has handed in a transfer request to Les Parisiens so he can join his long time suitors Real Madrid before the transfer window expires.

On the other hand, PSG have been very clear with their stance from the beginning that they want to keep hold of Mbappe beyond this summer and persuade him to sign a new deal.

Even Les Parisiens president Nasser Al Khelaifi insisted that Mbappe would not leave Parc Des Princes this summer.

Although the former Monaco star wants to play out the final year of his contract, PSG could lose him for free next summer should he opt against signing a new deal.

It remains to be seen whether Madrid are prepared to afford Mbappe’s valuation in this summer transfer window. But they have plans to sign him alongside Paul Pogba and Erling Haaland next summer.

Mbappe featured in PSG’s win against Strasbourg last weekend and also found the nets once.
