Paris Saint-Germain have contacted Paul Pogba’s representatives regarding a potential summer transfer. The French star has only one year left on his contract with Manchester United.

PSG have registered their interest in Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, who is said to be open to an exit from Old Trafford.

According to a Daily Mail report, Paris Saint-Germain has established contact with Pogba’s entourage regarding a potential summer transfer.

The report also adds that the French midfielder is looking keen on green pastures more than ever.

The 28-year-old has his contract running at Old Trafford until next summer, but the talks haven’t progressed yet over a new deal.

United will try to convince Pogba to pen an extension, and if they fail to do so, they will be forced to cash in on the midfielder, whom they bought for a record fee worth 89m pounds in 2016.

Pogba has long been linked with an exit from Old Trafford following United’s failure in the Premier League and Champions League over the years.

The French midfielder has been left disappointed with a shocking exit from Euro 2020, although he was the standout player from the start, producing some eye-catching displays to silence his critics.

United losing Pogba, who is currently in the form of his lifetime, would be a huge mistake. Eduardo Camavinga’s links have emerged lately, but he is too young to rely on.

Paris Saint-Germain

Elsewhere, PSG are making their presence felt in the transfer window, confirming the deals for Georginio Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos, and Gianluigi Donnarumma. It remains to be seen whether they can lure Pogba away from Old Trafford as his former club Juventus are also keen on his return.

Les Parisiens manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking for redemption after coming up short in Ligue 1 and UCL in his debut season.
