Kylian Mbappe makes an emphatic return in PSG's 3-0 win against OGC Nice

The French ace is reportedly eyeing an exit from the Parc des Princes next summer.

Real Madrid and Liverpool have been handed a huge boost in the pursuit of PSG star Kylian Mbappe.

According to reports, PSG have decided to lower Mbappe’s valuation to £91m once he enters the final twelve-months of his contract. His current deal runs until 2023 and a year extension could add another 35m pounds to his value.

The 21-year-old recently handed a transfer request to the Ligue 1 giants and has since put some of the European giants on red alert.

However, Liverpool are understood to be in regular contact with the French star over a move next summer while Real Madrid believe they have the edge.

The La Liga champions are said to be confident of a deal with Mbappe due to his constant links with the club.

Mbappe has become one of the world’s fearsome forwards in a short time, winning a plethora of trophies with Paris-Saint Germain. However, the Champions League trophy has been a nemesis for him, and he came close to winning it last season before losing to Bayern Munich in the finals.

Los Blancos, who have been quiet in this transfer window, would look to splash the cash on the former Monaco star next summer.

Jurgen Klopp also spoke about the financial hindrance in signing a player of Mbappe’s magnitude but nevertheless praised his quality.

It will be highly interesting to see which club would edge out in the transfer race for the World Cup winner.
