Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw against Burnley in the Premier League today.

The Reds were headed into the lead by Andrew Robertson on the 34th minute, but Burnley managed to fight back through Jay Rodriguez in the second half.

The away side scored the equalizer on the 69th minute.

The Reds had their chances to win the game in the end, but Nick Pope did amazingly well to deny the hosts. Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah came close to giving the Champions their lead, but they were denied by an inspired performance from Pope who is leading the race for the Golden glove this season.

Liverpool have already won the Premier League title, but they will be hoping to finish with 100 points or more this season.

Jurgen Klopp will be disappointed with his side’s performance here. The Reds have not been at their best since the restart, and they have dropped quite a few points already.

The loss against Manchester City, the draw against Everton and now a draw against Burnley will hurt the Liverpool boss.

Liverpool were favourites heading into the game, and they should have won these games.

The Reds move on to 93 points, while Burnley are up to the ninth place with 50 points. The Clarets will now be looking to finish the season strongly in the first half.

Despite all the criticisms about their style of play, Sean Dyche has done a remarkable job with Burnley so far.
