Pochettino calls Guardiola “the best in the world”

Manchester City are set to face PSG in the semi-finals of the Champions League and ahead of the crunch clash, Les Parisiens boss Mauricio Pochettino has labelled Pep Guardiola the ‘best manager in the world‘.

Pochettino said, “Both the managers previously met in the Champions League quarter-finals of 2019, where Pochettino had the last laugh after his Tottenham side defeated Citizens.

“For me, he is the best. I admire him and think he is doing a fantastic job not only at Manchester City but in Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

“He is an amazing, intelligent coach, always thinking of different strategies and game plans. I love to challenge him and the teams he prepared.

“Not only the best manager. The club is important, too. A club that trusts you to build a team and provides you with all the tools to be successful. That is the combination at Manchester City between Pep, the coaching staff, the club, the board, everyone.

“They create an amazing structure, very solid, and a very clear idea of how they need to act to be successful.”

Grealish transfer boost

Man City have received a huge transfer boost about Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish as a report states that Villans are looking for a life without their captain and have identified Norwich City’s Todd Cantwell as a summer target.

Grealish has attracted the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United after emerging as one of the hottest playmakers in Europe.

He is involved in 16 goals in 22 Premier League appearances this season.
