Man United hold talks with Adrien Rabiot amid Arsenal and Everton interest

Manchester United are looking to bring in the Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

As per reports, they have already held talks with the player’s agent regarding a summer move.

The Red Devils met with the player’s mother recently and it will be interesting to see if they can convince him to move to Old Trafford.

The likes of Arsenal and Everton are keen on the 25-year-old Frenchman as well.

However, Manchester United have a far more attractive project at their disposal and they have more financial muscle as well.

If they are truly keen on Rabiot, they should be able to sign him without any problems.

Arsenal and Everton do not have the resources to beat United to a signing.

Rabiot has fallen out of favour at Juventus and he needs to join a club where he can play regularly again. A move to United might be ideal for him right now.

The Old Trafford outfit need a midfield controller alongside Fred and Fernandes. If Pogba moves on, Rabiot could fill that void.

That said, Rabiot is not as good as Pogba and there will be a drop in quality. But Pogba is keen on a return to Juventus and there is no point in holding on to an unhappy player.

Rabiot has the potential to improve a lot and he can be signed for a reasonable price as well. He would be a good investment for Solskjaer and his team.

The fact that Juventus want Pogba could help United seal the deal for Rabiot as well. Both clubs could work out a deal that benefits them.
