Jose Mourinho on Christian Eriksen and Spurs Defence

On what he said to players in the break

I think the same defensive mistakes that we made in the first half we made in the second half. And this is being a little bit History. I think if Amazon wants to do web design, they will have for sure when it is all about our defensive mistakes and the goals that we that we can see if we start very very well. Think we have three four big chances.

In the beginning of the first half. We can see the two very bad goals. The first and the one that was offside. The two very very close. Then in the second half, I think we were very very good with the ball. We create we dominate with play.

But again the will is a very bad one. So, to score two goals away of home. You have to win. You cannot concede as many goals as we do that our defensive mistakes.

On improvement in Defensive organisation

Lots of work to do. But it’s been difficult because when you have I always say that we have to try always to try to to hide your fragilities, that’s an important thing in football, you have fragilities you have to try to hide them. But to hide them, we would lose our good qualities that we have to keep stressing the point is to try to keep the good qualities we have, and we have to improve. Defensively, and there are too many individual mistakes, and that’s very frustrating because we play well the score goals dominate games playing good football, I think.

On Christian Erickson being named as Man of the Match and the possibility of him being more involved in team, for his situation to change.

I don’t want to speak about it because I speak with him and we are so open with each other exactly because we trust each other in the sense of. We keep to ourselves, obviously, I share with with my boss and as Christian knows that knows that every conversation that we have, I have to share with my boss. That is just between us, so I don’t want to say much the only thing I can say is that is is trying to help the team like you did. Today, I’m happy with this man of the match.
