Emiliano Buendia bid submitted

Arsenal are interested in signing but Norwich City midfielder Emiliano Buendia this summer.

The 24-year-old midfielder is expected to leave the newly promoted side in the coming weeks and he is valued at around £40 million.

According to reports, the London side have now submitted an offer worth in excess of £30 million for the Argentine midfielder but Norwich are holding out for their original valuation of £40 million.

It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can iron out their differences in the coming weeks and finalise the transfer.

Buendia has been one of the best players in the Championship this past season and he has picked up 15 goals and 17 assists in all competitions.

Arsenal need to add more creativity to their side so that the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette can have more chances in front of the goal and the signing of Buendia would be an ideal move.

The Argentine has proven his quality in the Premier League before and he would be a superb addition to Mikel Arteta’s midfield next season.

Sead Kolasinac to return

Meanwhile, Bosnian international Sead Kolasinac is set to return to the Emirates after the relegation of Bundesliga side Schalke.

The 27-year-old was sent out on loan to Germany and it was expected that the German outfit would sign him permanently at the end of the season.

However, Schalke are not keen on signing him permanently following their relegation.

The defender fell down the pecking order at Arsenal and it will be interesting to see if he can regain his first-team place next season.

An alternative would be to find another suitor for the defender and sell him permanently during the summer transfer window.

It will be interesting to see how the 27 year old’s situation develops at the London club in the coming weeks.
