Bournemouth

Bournemouth will look to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League a game more when they welcome Leicester to the Vitality Stadium this Saturday in the early kick-off fixture of the Premier League weekend.

After enduring a poor start to the season which saw them concede 18 goals in their first five games, culminating in the sacking of Scott Parker, the Cherries have then gone on a four-game unbeaten run, and come into this game off the back of a 0-0 draw with Brentford last weekend.

Interim coach Tommy Elphick who was retained after the sacking of Scott Parker has enjoyed an impressive start to life at the Vitality Stadium. As he prepares his boys to take on Brendan Rodgers’ struggling side he will fancy their chances of getting a good result against the Foxes.

Possible Bournemouth starting line-up

Neto; Adam Smith, Chris Mepham, Marcos Senesi, Jordan Zemura; Lewis Cook, Jefferson Lerma; Marcus Tavernier, Philip Billing, Kieffer Moore; Dominic Solanke.

Injured: David Brooks, Joe Rothwell, Lloyd Kelly, Ben Pearson

Doubtful: Ryan Fredericks

Suspended: None

Leicester City

After going on a six-game losing streak, Leicester City recorded their first win of the season when they beat Nottingham Forest early this week and kept their first clean sheet of the current campaign in the process.

The win against the Premier League newcomers will be a breath of fresh air for head coach Brendan Rodgers who had question marks hanging over his head following his side’s poor start to the season.

The Northern Ireland manager will now look to make it two in a row when his side travels to the Vitality Stadium, but a game against the Cherries has not been smooth sailing for the Foxes in recent times with their last encounter ending in a 4-1 loss.

The win against Nottingham Forest is expected to act as the springboard that kick-starts their season, but Leicester City know they have a fight in their hands as they come up against a side who are trying to maintain a top-flight finish this season. They must dig deep to secure yet another win as they look to string together a run of victories to climb out of the relegation places.

Possible Leicester City starting line-up

Danny Ward; Timothy Castagne, Wout Faes, Jonny Evans, James Justin; Wilfred Ndidi; Youri Tielemans, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, James Maddison, Harvey Barnes; Jamie Vardy.

Injured: Ryan Bertrand

Doubtful: None
