Chelsea Transfer update: La Liga giants monitoring Chelsea duo situation, Tuchel eyeing a reunion with Gladbach star

Hakim Ziyech-Chelsea

Ziyech and Pulisic on the radar of Real Madrid and Barcelona

Chelsea duo Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic have been deprived of game time since Thomas Tuchel took charge, which has made them thoroughly disappointed.

The Blues are also said to have deemed the attacking duo expendable, with La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona waiting to pounce on them.

The Spanish clubs believe they can sign any of Ziyech and Pulisic should Chelsea get rid of them.

Tuchel wants Gladbach’s Hoffman

Blues gaffer Tuchel is keen on bringing Borussia Monchengladbach star Jonas Hoffman to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Hoffman is one of the players expected to leave the club alongside manager Marco Rose, who has agreed to take over at Dortmund from next season.

However, Tuchel wants to reunite with the 28-year-old with whom he previously worked at Dortmund. The Blues also believe they can avail his services for around £14m.

Hoffman has been productive in Bundesliga this season, racking up four goals and ten assists thus far. He has been further helpful for Gladbach to fight for the top-four spot as they are currently seventh in the table.

Hoffman will play a key role in Gladbach’s upcoming Champions League game against Manchester City.
