After their Champions League master class in midweek, Chelsea will return to Premier League action this Saturday looking to record two consecutive wins for the first time this season.
The Blues rekindled their hopes of finishing top of their UEFA Champions League group stage and qualifying for the next stage of the tournament with an impressive 3-0 win over AC Milan on Wednesday. Goals from Wesley Fofana, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Reece James was enough to seal the win for Graham Potter’s men in front of a jubilant Stamford Bridge crowd.
As they return to Stamford Bridge for the second game in a row, Potter will be hoping his side can produce another energetic display as he looks to win his third game as Chelsea coach, his second in the league, after his side beat Crystal Palace last weekend.
Currently sat fifth in the table with a goal difference of zero having scored and conceded ten goals, the hosts will have to tighten up at the back and become more clinical in front to be able to mount a serious push for a top-four finish.
With the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United still struggling, Potter will know that this is the best time for his side to rack up points to avoid getting drawn out of the race for the top four later in the season when the other teams return to form.

The visitors travel in disarray after sacking Lage following their 2-0 defeat to another London side West Ham United last weekend. So they won’t be relishing another trip to the capital.
Wolves have been linked with several potential new bosses, with Sevilla’s Julen Lopetegui emerging as the favourite to take over. But for their trip to London, Steve Davis and James Collins will be in charge. The duo have a job on their hands as they try to guide them to a first win since early September (L2).
