Crystal Palace

For the second game running, Crystal Palace managed to hold on to snatch a result from a game despite being the weaker side in the tie.

The Eagles held Leicester City to a goalless draw last weekend, making it two games without defeat in the Premier League. The first was a 2-1 win over Leeds United–a game that ended Patrick Vieira’s side’s four-game winless run (D2, L2).

And so, with momentum now on their side with this two-game ubeate6run, the hosts will welcome this misfiring Wolves side looking to extend their unbeaten run and shoot themselves up the table.

Currently, Palace are sitting in 13th place, with just two points separating them and Southampton who are occupying the last relegation spot. They are just one point ahead of Wolves and so could end this round of games sitting in the relegation zone if they lose here.

But having won each of the last three head-to-head meetings with Wolves, they will fancy their chances of making it two home wins in a row for the first time since the end of last season.

Possible Crystal Palace starting line-up

Vicente Guaita; Joel Ward, Joachim Andersen, Marc Guehi, Tyrick Mitchell; Michael Olise, Cheick Doucoure, Eberechi Eze; Jordan Ayew, Wilfried Zaha, Odsonne Edouard.

Injured: Jack Butland, Nathan Ferguson, James McArthur, Nathaniel Clyne

Wolves

Wolves will also be looking to make it two league wins in a row for the first time since March when they travel to London on Tuesday.

The managerless visitors picked up just their second win of the season last time out when they narrowly beat Premier League basement boys Nottingham Forest 1-0.

In an evenly-contested game at the Molineux, a 53rd-minute penalty goal by Ruben Neves made the difference for Wolves who had José Sá to thank for saving Brennan Johnson’s spot-kick for Forest.

The result took Wolves out of the relegation zone, although they remain precariously close to the drop zone after ten rounds of games. They will be hoping to push themselves further out of the bottom of the table with another win here.

But given that they have failed to win any of their last nine away league games (D2, L7) while failing to score in the last four of those games, they cannot be backed for a win here. Their record on this ground also poses a question, as they have lost in four of their last six visits to Selhurst Park (D1, W1).

Possible Wolves starting line-up

Jose Sa; Nelson Semedo, Max Kilman, Nathan Collins, Rayan Ait-Nouri; Matheus Nunes, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho; Adama Traore, Goncalo Guedes, Diego Costa.

Injured: Chiquinho, Sasa Kalajdzic, Raul Jimenez, Pedro Neto

Doubtful: None

Suspended: None
