Liverpool picked up a 4-0 win over Arsenal in the Premier League earlier tonight.

The Reds were beaten by West Ham United last time out and they were desperate to pick up all three points here.

Goals from Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah and Takumi Minamino sealed an impressive home win for the Reds.

Here at Anytime football, we look at the three major talking points from tonight consist.

Trent Alexander-Arnold produced a standout performance

The Liverpool defender was excellent in dealing with the likes of Emile Smith Rowe throughout the game and he produced two outstanding assists for his teammates.

The England international is not just a world-class right-back, he’s also an elite creator now.

Shocking display from Nuno Tavares

The summer signing was handed a starting berth by Mikel Arteta and he was thoroughly disappointing throughout the game.

Kieran Tierney will be hoping to get back into the starting lineup next week after the dreadful performance from Tavares tonight.

The defender was responsible for Liverpool’s second goal of the game and he kept on putting his teammates under pressure with misplaced passes.

Sadio Mane back to his brilliant best

The Senegalese attacker has struggled to hit top form since last season but he was outstanding against the Gunners tonight.

Mane scored the opening goal of the game with a well-taken header and he managed to set up Mohamed Salah’s goal as well.

Salah has been in electric form this season and if Mane can continue to play like this, the Reds could be in for a special season.
