City confident of landing Bissouma

Manchester City are looking to sign the Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma this summer.

According to reports, other Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Everton, West Ham and Tottenham are keeping tabs on the Mali international as well. Pep Guardiola is confident of signing the 24-year-old midfielder.

Apparently, Manchester City are preparing for the exit of Brazilian defensive midfielder Fernandinho, and they have identified the £30 million rated Brighton midfielder as a potential alternative.

Bissouma has been excellent for Brighton this season, and he could prove to be a quality long term addition to Pep Guardiola’s midfield.

It will be interesting to see if Manchester City can fend off the competition from the other Premier League clubs and secure his services in the summer.

Aguero in talks with Barcelona

Meanwhile, Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero will leave the club this summer on a free transfer and Spanish outfit Barcelona have already held initial talks with the attacker’s representatives.

Aguero is Manchester City’s record goalscorer with 258 goals in 387 appearances, and it will be interesting to see how the Premier League side replaces him next season.

Barcelona could definitely use some attacking depth next year, and signing the 32-year-old would be an inexpensive addition for them.

Aguero has played with Lionel Messi at the international level, and he could be the ideal short term fit for Barcelona.

A player of Aguero’s calibre is likely to have a lot of suitors, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up eventually.
