Manchester United set to pursue Sancho instead of Haaland

Premier League giants Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland and winger Jadon Sancho in recent months.

However, it appears that the Red Devils have now made their choice, and they are likely to pursue the signing of Sancho instead of Haaland.

Dortmund have repeatedly claimed that they will consider a transfer offer for the England international in the summer, but Erling Haaland is set to stay at the club.

Manchester United could definitely use a world-class winger, and Jadon Sancho would be a sensational addition for them.

The Red Devils have been using the likes of Dan James and Mason Greenwood on the right-hand side of their attack, and Sancho would be a major upgrade.

The Dortmund star will add goals and assists to the side along with flair and pace.

Sancho has been in exceptional form for Dortmund this season, and he has 14 goals and 18 assists to his name so far.

Sancho pursuit hots up as Chelsea, Barcelona, Bayern Munich join the race

Jadon Sancho will have many suitors, and his agent is going to have a tough time as most of the giants are pondering to lure away 21-year-old Englishman from Borussia Dortmund.

Thomas Tuchel is said to be interested in the midfielder. Apart from Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are also reportedly interested in the playmaker.

On the other hand, with Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland in their squad, Borussia Dortmund can throw a serious challenge to Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga title in the coming years.

Sancho asking price dropped

In other news, Borussia Dortmund have reportedly reduced the asking price for Jadon Sancho.

Apparently, the player could be signed for a fee of around £85 million this summer.

The winger has been heavily linked with Chelsea and Manchester United, and it remains to be seen where he ends up eventually. Sancho is a top-class player who would improve both clubs.

The reported asking price might seem a bit expensive right now, but the England international is still only 21, and he’s likely to improve a lot.

Sancho has the potential to develop into a world-class attacker and justify the massive price tag in future.
