Man Utd to complete Thiago Almada transfer in summer

Manchester United are set to sign Velez Sarsfield midfielder Thiago Almada in the summer.

It is reported that United have reached an agreement with a bid worth €16m for the signing of Argentine prospect, who had been linked with the likes of Barcelona, Manchester City.

United appear to continue the trend of exploring the youngsters from South America, having already signed Facundo Pellestri last summer.

Pogba ready to hold contract talks

Paul Pogba has confirmed that he would soon like to hold contract extension talks, with his current deal expiring at the end of the next season.

Earlier, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola created a fuss by making a shocking claim that the French World Cup winner is looking for an exit.

Despite being a tumultuous season, Pogba has shown his real class of late, once again proving his significance to United’s fight for the Premier League title.

“I’ve a contract, I’m here, I’m enjoying myself, everybody knows that I have one year left so I’m going to speak to the club to see what’s going on.

“Now my objective, my goal is to win something that’s all I’m thinking about is to win, bring my energy, do the best I can to help the team the most.”

Solskjaer opined about Martial after Sheffield United horrorshow

United took an unexpected knock in the Premier League title race after losing to Sheffield United 1-2 at Old Trafford.

Anthony Martial had a gruesome day at the office with a lacklustre performance and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that the French striker wouldn’t be spared from criticism.

“I think the whole team will probably get criticism tonight and myself as well. I don’t think Anthony is exempt from that.

“We all should be criticised because we didn’t perform. Anthony is working really hard in training, working on his finishing and movement. I’ve got no qualms that he will come good.”
