Manchester United conceded a 0-2 defeat against West Ham United at London stadium yesterday. The match saw United creating chances but were not able to execute them in front of goal. Earlier we saw young United playing against a team from Kazakhstan, but injury laden Manchester United were exposed against West Ham.

West Ham, who seems to have no fear, had no reason to hold back against a United side. Clawless heavyweight of the Premier League had no punches to throw, rather allowing West Ham to grow in confidence, manage the proceedings.

Marshalled by the outstanding Mark Noble in midfield, Manuel Pellegrini’s side had measured as well as intense approach. Yarmolenko’s pierced effort gave them a deserved lead, before Aaron Creswell’s free-kick swirled into David de Gea’s top corner. At the other end, Issa Diop and Angelo Ogbonna were as rugged in support as United were toothless in assault.

Ole tried to defend the team against the voice raised in media, mostly by fans and ex-players during post-match conference, “We lost the last year, it’s always a difficult ground to go to, and we hope we should do better than we did, and we hope for better.”.    He felt application on field was key concern “the key moments, they grasped we didn’t have to say two fantastic finishes from two good left feet defeated us. Sorry. And we just didn’t take the chances when we have them.” He agreed, “we didn’t create enough chances. But we created big chances, some big moments that we didn’t take and they scored on there. That didn’t create too many ideas again like either going both ways. And when you got rush within Don James I don’t think pace is the problem.”

On Rashford’s injury today, “We’ve got a scanning. Tomorrow, a shelter is growing so she’ll probably be out for a little while but I can update you later on.”  On other players, “Yeah, it’s just it’s just one of these moments. Some we’ve had historically loads of centre backs. Over the last few years struggling with injuries opefully amazing and Anthony will be back for.”

Why Alexis was allowed to move Inter “We made a decision on that, and I still think it was the best one for all son for Alexis and we agreed on that one.

He assessed that United faltered indecision making during key moments, but he strongly defended the attitude and intention of player, saying, ” Sometimes, along the road, you’re going to hit some bumps as we’ve said some highs and lows. This group was out there determine that the shoulder decided we want to get out with, it was a good atmosphere in the dressing room, and they’ve got the, the focus right”.

“I’m very happy about all of today,” Pellegrini said. “The way we played. I always talk with the players that we must have the mentality to play the same way we work during the week. It doesn’t matter if we play United or against every big team. We must trust that we are able to beat them.”
