The Eagles did well to hit back on the stroke of half time when Christian Benteke headed home from Luka Milivojevic’s cross.

With both teams going into the break on level terms the game was finely poised. However, Spurs came snarling back in the second half and Gareth Bale gave his side the lead once again after across from Sergio Reguilon was headed back across the face of the goal by Harry Kane and the Welshman did well to nod it in.

Kane scored his opening goal of the game on the 52nd minute with a stunning long-range effort the striker doubled his tally on the 76th minute after a brilliant linkup play with Son Heung-Min.

The two players have been excellent this season and they have managed to create numerous goals for each other. This was the 14th time they assisted one another in the Premier League this season.

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham are clearly on the up right now and they have picked up three consecutive Premier League wins.

Spurs are now two points off the top four and will be interesting to see if they can qualify for the Champions League now.

Meanwhile, Gareth Bale continues his revival with a brace here. The Welshman was outstanding against Burnley and the fans will be delighted to see that the on-loan Real Madrid winger is close to returning to his best now.

Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son have now combined for more goals in a single season than any other duo in Premier League history!
