Having secured Champions League football for next season, Antonio Conte and his Tottenham side will turn their attention to securing a second consecutive win in the Premier League.
After recording back-to-back losses to Manchester United and Newcastle bounced back in style at the weekend as they came from behind to beat Bournemouth FC 3-2.
In a dramatic game at the Vitality Stadium, Conte’s men fell two goals behind within the first 49 minutes thanks to a brace from Kieffer Moore. But goals from Ryan Sessegnon, Ben Davies and Rodrigo Bentancur in the 92nd minute gave Spurs maximum points and ensured that they kept up pace with the top two teams.
The North London side followed up that win with another late win over Marseille in the Champions League in midweek; this time Pierre Emile Hojbjerg found the back of the net to secure a win and send Spurs to the next round of the UCL as group winners.
But they will have to avoid falling behind again on Saturday if they want to win this Liverpool side, who they have struggled against in recent games. Liverpool will hope to record their first Premier League win away from home this season when they travel to London.
The Reds have been miserable this season in the Premier League, with four losses already in the league after 13 rounds of games.
