Real Madrid are prepared to listen to offers for Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale this summer.

Apparently, the Spanish outfit are looking to sign the likes of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe and therefore they will look to raise funds by selling some of their fringe players.

Hazard has been a major disappointment since his £130 million move from Chelsea. The Belgian has struggled to perform at a high level because of persistent injury problems and Real Madrid are now prepared to cut their losses on him.

Apart from his performances, the Belgian has struggled to form a bond with the fans as well. The videos of him laughing with Chelsea players after the Blues dumped Real Madrid out of the Champions League earlier in the season infuriated the critiques and fanbase. It seems that the player is now unwanted at Santiago Bernabeu.

Hazard is 30 years old and he’s unlikely to get any better. This would be a good time to get rid of the Belgian and recoup as much as possible.

Meanwhile, Gareth Bale was on loan at Tottenham Hotspur this season. He has been quite impressive for the London side, when the Spurs used him in their attack.

The 31-year-old has reportedly returned to Madrid following the final Premier League game against Leicester City and he wishes to see out his contract with the Spanish club. It will be interesting to see if any club comes forward with a concrete offer for the two wingers this summer.

Bale will be out of contract at the end of next season and selling him now would allow Real Madrid to free up their wage bill and recoup some money.

On the other hand, Hazard has been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge and it remains to be seen where he ends up eventually.
