Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

The midfielder struggled to hold down a regular starting berth under Thomas Tuchel last season, and he needs to leave in order to play regularly.

According to reports, AC Milan are keen on signing the Moroccan midfielder, and they are looking at him as a potential replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu.

The Turkish midfielder joined Inter Milan earlier this summer, and Milan will have to bring in a quality replacement.

Ziyech was highly rated across Europe during his time with Ajax, and he could prove to be a quality addition for the Italian club.

It is evident that the midfielder needs a fresh start to regain his form and confidence, and move away from Chelsea would be ideal for him.

The Italian outfit were looking at the Everton midfielder James Rodriguez as well. Still, they view the Chelsea midfielder as a more realistic signing because of the Colombian’s excessive wage demands.

The report further states that Chelsea are happy to cash in on the player, and it will be interesting to see if Milan can agree on a fee with the Blues in the coming weeks.

The Italian outfit are thought to be keen on two other Chelsea players – Olivier Giroud and Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Ziyech will add creativity and flair in the final third for Milan. He can score important goals as well. With his quality and style of play, he will easily adapt to the Italian Serie A outfit quickly.
