Lazio grind out a narrow 2-1 win over Bologna

Lazio picked up a 2-1 win over Bologna in the Italian League earlier today.

Luis Alberto gave the home side their lead on the 54th minute and Ciro Immobile doubled their advantage on the 76th minute.

Lorenzo de Silvestri scored a consolation goal for Bologna deep into injury time.

The win takes Lazio up to 10th in the table with seven points from five games.

Lazio have made a poor start to their season and they will be relieved to have taken all three points from tonight’s game.

They will be expected to challenge for Champions League qualification this season and the Italian outfit will have to improve a lot in the upcoming matches.

Meanwhile, Bologna are 16th in the table with just three points from five games and they must look to bounce back with a win and rebuild their confidence in the next game.

 Lazio were challenging for the title last year and they have the quality to play better than they have this season.
