Udinese

Udinese will be looking to continue their impressive start to the season when they welcome Atalanta to the Dacia Arena.

Andrea Sottil continued his impressive start to his tenure as Udinese coach, with his side picking up yet another win against Verona last weekend, and extending his unbeaten run to seven.

I Bianconeri have not looked back since losing to AC Milan in round one of the Serie A, and have since then gone on a six-game-winning run to sit third in the Serie A standings with 19 points, one less than League leaders Napoli

Udinese have established themselves as outside favourites to win the Scudetto this season and there is no better way of holding off opposition than beating fellow title hopefuls Atalanta who sit in second place, level on points with Napoli.

Andrea Sottil knows that his team stand a chance of going top of the table with a win over Gian Piero Gasperini’s side, but face a daunting having failed to get one over La Dea in their last five encounters, suffering three defeats and two draws along the line.

However, with their newfound form, I Bianconeri boast the second-best attacking output in the League and will fancy their chances of grabbing all three points against Atalanta.

Possible Udinese starting line-up

Marco Silvestri; Rodrigo Becao, Jaka Bijol, Nehuen Perez; Roberto Pereyra, Sandi Lovric, Walace, Jean-Victor Makengo, Destiny Udogie; Gerard Deulofeu, Beto.

Injured: Adam Masina

Doubtful: Leonardo Buta

Suspended: None

Atalanta

Atalanta are one of the two sides yet to taste defeat in the Italian top-flight this season.

La Dea secured a hard-fought win over Fiorentina last weekend with Ademola Lookman grabbing the only goal of the day to hand Gian Piero Gasperini’s side all three points.

The Italian tactician will now look to secure yet another win when his side takes on Udinese at the Dacia Arena.

Trailing Napoli on goal difference, Atalanta have maintained pace with the League leaders and are in pole position to pounce on any slip-ups by the Naples-based side, but must fend off competitions from third-placed Udinese.

With a better head-to-head record against I Bianconeri, head coach Gian Piero Gasperini will be hoping for a continuation of the same streak but knows that his side will face a ferocious battle for three points with the home side having improved greatly this season.

Possible Atalanta starting line-up

Marco Sportiello; Merih Demiral, Giorgio Scalvani, Caleb Okoli; Hans Hateboer, Marten De Roon, Teun Koopmeiners, Brandon Soppy; Ademola Lookman, Ederson Jose; Luis Muriel.

Injured: Davide Zappacosta, Rafael Toloi

Doubtful: Juan Musso, Duvan Zapata, Berat Djimsiti

Suspended: None
