Dominic Calvert-Lewin hoping to learn from hardworking Tottenham star

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been in sensational form this season and he has managed to score nine goals in six games across all competitions.

The highly talented striker has managed to guide Everton to the top of the table and he will be hoping to make his mark for the England national team now.

The Everton striker has spoken of his excitement as he prepares to work with Harry Kane on England duty.

The Tottenham striker is one of the best attackers in the game and Calvert-Lewin is looking to learn from him when the two players meet up on international duty.

England will take on Wales  this week and then Belgium and Denmark in the Nations League.

The 23-year-old Everton striker revealed that Harry Kane has worked extremely hard to reach where he is right now and he’s hoping to learn from the Tottenham player and add some of Kane’s qualities to his game.

He said: “I’m always learning and he has been scoring goals for a long period of time. He broke into the Premier League and hit the ground running around the same age as me. He’s got a lot of things to his game I can learn from and I can add that to my game. He is where he is for a reason. He’s worked extremely hard, he’s got great ability and he scores goals. For me as a player coming into the team, it’s nice to get up close and personal and see how he operates on a daily basis.”

It will be interesting to see if Everton can qualify for the Champions League this season. They have started the season very well and they are in a good position to fight for a top-four finish.

Someone like Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be crucial to there ambitions this season.
