Cadiz

Cadiz will look to get back to winning ways when they host Real Madrid this Sunday.

The hosts are still in a big fight to secure their La Liga destiny as they come into this tie sitting two points clear of the La Liga relegation zone with two games remaining following Thursday’s 3-0 hammering by Real Sociedad

Their last game comes against Alavés, whom they lead by four points. And so they could still control their destiny, particularly if they can get something from hosting champions Real Madrid.

Given that they held Real Madrid to a goalless draw at the Bernabeu earlier in the season – and beat them there last term – they will fancy their chances of getting a result in this tie.

Possible Cadiz CF starting line-up

Jeremias Ledesma; Carlos Akapo, Luis Hernandez, Victor Chust, Alphonso Espino; Ruben Sobrino, Jose Mari, Tomas Alarcon, Oussama Idrissi; Alex Fernandez, Lucas Perez.

Injured: Varazdat Haroyan

Doubtful: None

Suspended: None

Real Madrid

Real Madrid bounced back from a 1-0 loss to Atletico Madrid last time out as they dismantled bottom-of-the-table Levante 6-0.

In a one-sided game at the Santiago Bernabeu, Los Blancos scored four goals in the first half, with Vinicius junior scoring a hat-trick in the game.

The result was their 26th win of the season, taking their points tally for the season to 84 points. With the UEFA Champions League final against Liverpool on the horizon, Carlo Ancelotti will be desperate for his side to keep their momentum going.

But having conceded first in three of their last five competitive games, they will have to be awake and in their best shape to avoid another embarrassing loss.

Possible Real Madrid starting line-up

Thibaut Courtois; Lucas Vazquez, Jesus Vallejo, Nacho Fernandez, Ferland Mendy; Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde, Luka Modric; Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior, Karim Benzema.

Injured: Gareth Bale, Marco Asensio, Dani Carvajal, Eden Hazard, Marcelo, Dani Ceballos, Isco, Miguel Gutierrez

Doubtful: None

Suspended: None

Cadiz 1-4 Real Madrid
