Real Madrid were held to a 3-3 draw against Levante in La Liga earlier tonight.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men were the firm favourites heading into this contest but they will be relieved to have come away with a point in the end.

Vinicius the saviour
The Brazilian was brought on by Carlo Ancelotti when his side was 2-1 down and Vinicius did not disappoint.
The young attacker created opportunities for his teammates with his pace and flair.
He also scored two vital goals for Real Madrid including the late equalizer towards the end of the game to make the score 3-3.
The Brazilian will be hoping to hold down a regular starting berth after tonight’s performance.
The dismissal of Levante goalkeeper Aitor Fernandez
The Levante goalkeeper was sent off around the 87th-minute mark for a handball well outside of his area. Levante’s misery compounded as they had their fifth substitution moments before the red card incident. The home side had to deploy defender Ruben Vezo as their interim goalkeeper for the remainder of the game.
The dismissal could have easily proven costly for the Spanish outfit but Real Madrid failed to test Vezo in the closing stages of the game and Levante managed to grind out a draw eventually.
David Alaba had a mixed day
The Austrian joined Real Madrid on a free transfer earlier in the summer and he has been outstanding for his new club so far.
Alaba picked up an assist against Deportivo Alaves on his La Liga debut and he was outstanding against Levante tonight. The defender played a key role in Gareth Bale’s opener today and he looked lively on the ball.
The Austrian looked like he would create opportunities every time he had possession and the fans will be pleased with the showing of their summer arrival so far.
But his awkward header from a set-piece, helped Levante to take 3-2 lead late in the match. But Vinicius scored the equaliser minutes later to make the scoreline 3-3.
