Sterling’s contract talks put on hold.

Manchester City have held off contract talks of Raheem Sterling due to a change in agents. The English winger had earlier parted ways with agent Aidy Ward and his matters are now being handled by lawyers.

Sterling is currently in the line for a bumper £320,000-a-week deal.

Man City are simultaneously working on the contracts of Kevin de Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho, with the latter two’s current deal expiring this summer.

Kane focused on Euros amid exit links.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has shrugged off his exit speculations, stating that he wants to focus on the European Championship.

Kane has been linked with a move away from Spurs, with giants like Manchester City, United and Real Madrid looking like potential suitors.

However, the 27-year-old has insisted that he remains focused on contributing to the Three Lions and Spurs for the time being.

“It’s important that all my focus is on the two England games coming up now and the rest of the season with Spurs and then the Euros. To be thinking about speculation or rumours would be damaging in terms of my own performance.

“I always like to be focused on one goal and one job and that’s to finish strong with Spurs, win these qualifiers with England and hopefully go on and have a great Euros. Look, I try to stay out of that speculation as much as possible.”
