Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham will look to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Chelsea just before the winter break when they welcome Brighton to London this weekend.

The hosts lost 2-0 to Chelsea, courtesy of goals from Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva. The loss was their third in the last five games (all three losses came against Chelsea).

Since taking over at Tottenham, Antonio Conte has instilled discipline and drive in his team. But in recent times, Spurs seem to have reverted to their old ways. The London side have not kept a clean sheet in five games and are looking easy to break down at the back.

After a largely unsuccessful Janauary transfer window that saw them miss out on two of their major transfer targets, the hosts will look to dust themselves up and pick up a morale-boosting win in the FA Cup.

After crashing out of the Europa Conference League and Carling Cup, coupled with a poor position in the league, this competition is their only chance of winning a trophy this season.

They will look to make the most of their chance, beginning with a win in this game.

Possible Tottenham starting line-up

Pierluigi Gollini; Japhet Tanganga, Joe Rodon, Ben Davies; Matt Doherty, Harry Winks, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Ryan Sessegnon; Lucas Moura, Steven Bergwijn; Harry Kane.

Injured: None

Doubtful: Son Heung-min, Cristian Romero

Suspended: None

Brighton

Brighton will look to make it to the next round of the FA Cup at the expense of Tottenham when both sides clash on Saturday.

The Seagulls qualified for the round by defeating West Brom in the last round. In an end-to-end game at the Hawthorns, the hosts scored first through Carl Robinson. But Polish midfielder Jakub Moder equalised for Brighton in the 81st minute to take the game to extra time. Neal Maupay now scored in the 98th minute to secure the comeback win for the visitors.

Meanwhile, just before the winter/international break, the visitors held Leicester City to a 1-1 draw to extend their unbeaten run to seven games in all competitions.

However, they have drawn their last three games by a 1-1 scoreline. They will hope to do better this time, by converting their chances and tightening up at the back.

Possible Brighton starting line-up

Robert Sanchez; Joel Veltman, Adam Webster, Lewis Dunk, Marc Cucurella; Yves Bissouma, Jakub Moder; Tariq Lamptey, Adam Lallana, Leandro Trossard; Danny Welbeck.

Injured: Jason Steele, Jeremy Sarmiento

Doubtful: Alexis Mac Allister, Enock Mwepu and Shane Duffy

Suspended: None
