AS Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo could be up for grabs at the end of the season.

According to a report from Calciomercato, Zaniolo is no longer a priority option for the Italian Serie A club, and Roma are yet to begin contract renewal talks with the midfielder.

The highly-rated playmaker has a contract with Roma until the summer of 2024, and it appears that the Italians are willing to sell the player poor for a fee of around €40 million in the summer.

Italian giants Juventus and Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be keen on signing the talented playmaker, and it will be interesting to see where Zaniolo ends up.

Juventus are looking at the midfielder as a potential replacement for Paulo Dybala, whose contract expires in five months.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur director Fabio Paratici is a great admirer of the Zaniolo, and the player is highly rated by Antonio Conte as well.

The chance to move to the Premier League could be a tempting option for the midfielder, and Spurs certainly have the financial muscle to pay the reported €40 million asking price.

Zaniolo is still relatively young, and working with a manager like Antonio Conte could help him develop further.

The Roma midfielder was regarded as a world-class talent a few seasons ago, and it will be interesting to see if he can fulfil his tremendous potential at the Premier League club.
