Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has been heavily linked with a move away from the London club this summer.

The 28-year-old Switzerland international is closing in on the move to AS Roma.

According to the latest reports from CalciomercatoJuventus have now entered the race to sign the experienced central midfielder, and it will be interesting to see if they can hijack his transfer to the capital club.

Juventus are certainly a more attractive proposition compared to Roma, and Xhaka might be tempted to move to the Turin club.

He will have a greater chance of winning trophies with Juventus next season. Furthermore, they will be able to offer him Champions League football as well.

Xhaka has been outstanding for Switzerland in the European Championships so far, and he put in a remarkable performance as his side eliminated France in the Round of 16.

The midfielder has had a torrid time in England, but there is no doubt that he has the quality to prove to be a quality signing for Juventus or Roma next year. A move to Italy would be a fresh start and an exciting challenge for the player.

He has shown his ability with the national team and with Borussia Monchengladbach in the past.

Juventus midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Arthur have been linked with moves away from the Italian club this summer, and they will need to bring in proper replacements.

Xhaka could prove to be a quality signing for them for a reasonable price this summer.
