Bayern Munich picked up another win in the Bundesliga and it was a 4-2 thriller at BayArena against Bayer Leverkusen. The current Bundesliga champion need two more wins in upcoming four matches to seal Bundesliga title.

The home side did their best to stop the league leaders but the Bavarians had too much for them.

The away side are now just two wins away from their eight straight league title win.

Leverkusen took the lead through Alario in the first half but Kingsley Coman levelled things up soon.

The likes of Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry scored to put the away side in the league. Lewandowski popped up with Bayern’s fourth to seal the result.

Wirtz added a second for Leverkusen on the 89th minute but it was nothing more than a consolation goal for the hosts.

Leverkusen went into this game with their Champions League hopes hanging in the balance and it will be interesting to see how they react to this defeat.

They will need to finish the season really well and hope for some luck in order to play in the Champions League next season.

Meanwhile, Hansi Flick’s men will be delighted with their performance and they will hope to wrap up the title soon.

Bayern have been unstoppable at times this season and despite their poor start, they deserve to be clear of the chasing pack at the top of the table.

It will be interesting to see how they perform in the Champions League once the competition resumes.
