Bayern interested in highly-rated Kvaratskhelia

Bayern Munich are reportedly keeping tabs on young Rubin Kazan winger Khivicha Kvaratskhelia ahead of a possible move this summer.

The Bavarians’ youth players have been flourishing over the last few years and once again they are looking to add another highly talented prospect Kvaratskhelia.

The 20-year-old, who has been tipped to succeed in top clubs like Real Madrid and Bayern, has been excellent in the Russian top-flight this season, racking up three goals and four assists.

The Georgian youngster, who also scored in the World Cup Qualifiers against Spain, is cited as a replacement for Douglas Costa, who would leave Bayern to his parent club Juventus after an underwhelming loan spell.

Lewandowski eyeing quick return from injury.

Robert Lewandowksi is reportedly speeding up his recovery from the ligament injury he picked up during the international break – Poland vs Andorra – and he wants to be on the field before Bayern’s second leg against PSG.

The news of Lewandowksi’s unavailability for the Quarter-finals first leg against Les Parisiens wasn’t received well among the fans as he has been the spearhead of  Bayern’s attack over a long time.

However, the Polish man’s form has escalated under Hansi Flick as he is currently at the peak of his powers, racking up more than 40 goals in all competitions this season.

Bayern won their recent Bundesliga game against Leipzig and have taken a stride to the title – seven points clear at the top. Eric Choupo-Moting played as the striker in the absence of Lewandowski.
