PSG keen on Wolves winger Pedro Neto

Pedro Neto-Wolves

Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto is thought to be a target for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old has been a superb signing for Wolves, and he has been a key player for them since joining the club.

The Portuguese international recently signed a new contract with the Premier League club, which keeps him at Molineux until the summer of 2027, and PSG will have to pay a premium if they want to secure his services.

The French outfit are set to lose Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer this summer, and they will need to bring in a quality player as a replacement period.

The 22-year-old Wolves winger is certainly not as good as Mbappe, but he has the potential to develop into a top-class player with the right coaching and experience.

Apparently, PSG are keeping tabs on the likes of Raphinha from Leeds United and Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona as well.

It will be interesting to see if PSG can agree on a fee with the Premier League giants in the coming months now.

The opportunity to join a club like PSG could be attempting proposition for the 22-year-old Wolves star, but the Premier League side have him tied down to a long term contract, and they are unlikely to budge on the asking price.

The West Midlands club paid around £16m for his services in 2019, and they are likely to demand more than double of that for him if PSG come calling this summer.

PSG certainly have the means to pay that kind of money, and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.
