Manchester United Line-up against Tottenham Hotspur

Paul Pogba to get attacking role ahead of playmaker Bruno Fernandez

Manchester United take on Tottenham in a Premier League game later this week and they will be desperate to kick-off the post-lockdown period with a win.

The Red Devils are fighting for a place in next season’s Champions League and they will have to win here. Spurs are their direct rivals in the top four race and losing to them could be catastrophic.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men were in good form before the lockdown and they will look to carry on from that now.

With the likes of Rashford and Pogba back from injury, United should be able to field a full-strength lineup for this game.

Rashford is likely to return to the starting lineup to lead the line. Meanwhile, there has been talks of Pogba being deployed in a more advanced role and it will be interesting to see how that works out.

As for the midfield, in-form playmaker Bruno Fernandes will surely start and he will hope to build on his impressive start to life at Old Trafford.

Fred and Matic could be the ones supporting him in the center of the park.

The defense more or less picks itself. Wan Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof and Shaw are expected to start with David De Gea in between the sticks.

It will be interesting to see if Daniel James and Anthony Martial gets a nod in the attack.
