Chelsea are keen on signing the Trabzonspor keeper Ugurcan Cakir this summer.

As per reports, the Blues are ready to offer up to €30m for the 24-year-old.

Kepa is the number one keeper at Chelsea right now, and it will be interesting to see how Lampard uses Cakir if the player joins. Apart from goalkeeper position, Chelsea could see an overhaul to its side or in important positions after they vowed to rebuild their side.

The 24-year-old could push Kepa for the starting berth, and that could help both players improve.

Cakir is a talented keeper, and he can develop into a reliable Premier League player.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea can agree on a fee with the Turkish club now.

Furthermore, the player could be seeking assurances over game time as well. He might not want to waste his peak years on the bench.

In other news, Chelsea are now looking to bring in the PSG defender Layvin Kurzawa.

The left-back is out of contract in the summer and Chelsea could snap him up on a free transfer.

The Blues have been linked with left-backs like Telles, Tagliafico and Chilwell already and it seems that Lampard wants to improve on the likes of Alonso and Palmieri.

It will be interesting to see if they make a move for Kurzawa in the coming weeks.

He could prove to be an excellent addition on a free transfer, but it is highly unlikely that he will be an upgrade on Chelsea’s current options.

The Blues won’t be the only ones after the free agent, and they must act quickly. Kurzawa has been linked with Arsenal and Atletico Madrid as well.
